What Tribe is for
Finding people you get along with, talking to them, building things together, and finding what is on at your campus. Everything here follows from that: be the person you would want to meet.
Be real
Use your own name or a handle people know you by, your own photo, and your own words. One account per person. Do not pretend to be someone else, a college, a company, or Tribe.
Do not pass off artificially generated or altered images, audio or video of a real person as genuine. Tribe has no tools to generate such content; if you post it from elsewhere, say what it is.
Be decent
No harassment, bullying, threats, hate, or targeting someone for who they are — their gender, caste, religion, region, sexuality, disability or anything else. No sexual harassment. No sexual content involving minors, ever. No sharing of someone's private information — phone number, address, photos they did not post — without their consent.
Disagreement is fine. Dogpiling, doxxing and stalking are not.
What must not be posted
Indian law asks every platform to tell its users not to host or share certain content, and to remove it when it is reported. On Tribe that means: nothing obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit; nothing harmful to children; nothing that shows a person's private parts or a sexual act without their consent, including edited or fake images; nothing that infringes a copyright, trademark or other right; nothing that impersonates another person; nothing that is knowingly false or misleading and shared to deceive; nothing that threatens the unity, integrity, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order, or that incites an offence; nothing that contains malware or is designed to interrupt or damage a computer; and nothing that violates any law in force.
Content in these categories is removed as soon as we see it or it is reported, and where the law requires, we report it to the authorities.
No spam, scams or selling
No advertising, referral links, paid promotions, fake job offers, "pay to apply" schemes, fraud, or messages sent to many people at once. Opportunities with a fee are removed. Do not ask people for money, passwords, OTPs or login links.
No tampering
Do not scrape profiles, collect other people's data by automated means, try to get into accounts that are not yours, probe or attack Tribe, or try to get around blocks, limits or security controls. Do not use bots or fake accounts to inflate ranks, streaks, endorsements or reports, and do not file false reports to get someone else removed.

Photos
Post photos you took or have the right to share. No nudity, no gore, nothing that identifies someone who did not agree to be posted.
Reporting
Report a person from their profile or a post from its menu. Say which rule you think was broken. A person reviews every report; you will not be told the outcome, and the person you reported is not told who reported them. Reports are limited to twenty a day per account so the queue stays honest.
Something the in-app report does not cover — a message, a group, or anything that needs more words — goes to jainaagam1237890@gmail.com with "Report" in the subject. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 7 days.
Block anyone at any time from their profile. Blocking hides you from each other inside the app — the People grid, posts, notifications, messages and team invitations — and hides any DNA answers you had shared with them.
Tribe is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the police (112 in India) or a helpline first, then report to us.
What we do
Depending on what happened we may dismiss the report, record a warning, remove the post, or suspend the account for a period. Repeat or serious breaches end the account. Every action is recorded against the moderator who took it.
Content that is illegal under Indian law is removed as soon as we see it and, where the law requires, reported to the authorities.
Copyright and privacy complaints
If content on Tribe uses your work without permission or shows you without your consent, email jainaagam1237890@gmail.com with "Takedown" in the subject, a link or description of the content, and how we can confirm it is yours. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 7 days; intimate images shared without consent and impersonation are handled first.
Appeals
If your post was removed or your account suspended and you believe we got it wrong, reply to jainaagam1237890@gmail.com with "Appeal" in the subject. A person will look again.
